I only had a chance to play a quick game last night. Seemed like it had potential. Nothing earth-shattering tho (from the 1 game I played). I dislike the screen freeze you get when you die tho.

The game isn't bad, but I don't think it's a replacement for Call of Duty.  Since this is a "beta" I'll list some things that need improvement.

- Death Hiccup: When you die, as Soy pointed out, everything freezes for a moment.  This is annoying.
- Hit Detection/Bullet Lag:  A number of problems here. I really don't like it when I begin to feel it is necessary to fire an entire clip per kill.  The bullet lag makes me shoot longer than I need to if I want to insure I get the kill.  The bullet spray and sketchy hit mean that I'm only hitting with 1 out of 8 or 9 rounds sometimes.  It feels like these Taliban bastards are bullet sponges.
- Spawn locations: There are plenty of spawn points I've seen so far that could allow a sniper to have a field day popping off heads.  Of course, that is, if the sniper rifle could actually hit anything at a distance greater than 10m with any consistency. 
- Grenade launchers: Pretty useless. Their splash damage is virtually non-existent. A good fix would be to increase the splash damage and also increase the amount of time required to re-supply 203 grenades at ammo dumps
- Screen adjustment:  There is an option in the menus to adjust the screen size.  The indicators show that, while my TV is setup for 1080p, the game is overscanning.  So, I adjusted the screen size in the options menu so that the indicators were correctly aligned, but this didn't carry into the game.  The numbers in the corners of the screen are partially cut off.

This game feels like Socom and Call of Duty had a love child that came out disfigured and slightly retarded.  It's not horrible, but it's not worthy of a purchase either.  I'd rather drop $30 on the MW2 map packs.
